This Machine Kills Fascists

"This Machine Kills Fascists" (May 2012)
12" x 16" Ink and Photoshop

A two-point perspective exercise for my technical drawing class.

The Dawn Patrol

"The Dawn Patrol" (April 2012)
18" x 24" Acrylic on Bristol Mounted on Textured Gallery Wrap Canvas.

This painting was for my Illustration 1 Near/Far assignment, where a figure in the foreground had to be connected to a figure/object in the background creating a story in one image. This isn't the best picture of the piece. A lot of the textures were lost, and the bright green in the footprint is much more vibrant in real life.

"The odour arising from the newly opened depths was intolerable, and at length the quick-eared Hawkins thought he heard a nasty, sloping sound down there. Everyone listened, and everyone was listening still when It lumbered slobberingly into sight and gropingly squeezed Its gelatenous green immensity through the black doorway into the tainted outside air of that poison city of madness."
-H. P. Lovecraft "The Call of Cthulhu"

From Beyond

"From Beyond" (March 2012)
Ink, Pencil, Acrylic, and Photoshop.

Based on the H.P Lovecraft story of the same name.

Farewell

"Farewell" (February 2012)
11" x 14" Watercolor and Color Pencil on 12" x 15' Watercolor paper

An assignment for my Illustration 1 class.  We had to illustrate a scene from a children's book that was based on a sentence.  My sentence was:  "When the clock struck twelve, he knew it was finally over."
